Odin’s Playbook: A Norse Tarot Tale is a tarot deck that has a little bit of everything. It follows the symbolism of the well-known Rider Waite tarot deck which is reinterpreted through diverse modern yet ancient Viking times illustrations. It also comes with a printed 96-page guidebook and a two-piece box.

What is the size of the tarot cards?
I’m using the standard tarot card size of 2.75” x 4.75” (70 mm x 120 mm). (For both Odin’s Playbook Tarot And Ascension Tarot )

How will you ship?
I will be using a fulfilment centre to send out the decks this time around. This was the only way to be able to offer cheaper shipping worldwide. The fulfilment centre will package and mail out the packages and will in return provide tracking numbers for all packages. These packages will take 10-20 business days to arrive to you once they have been sent out. (with COV-ID there are no guarantees on time)

When will I receive my pledges?
Timeline:
If everything goes to plan, I am expecting to have all decks in hand and shipped out to you in January/February.
This gives enough time for the Kickstarter to end in September, the funds to be transferred to me ( takes approximately 2 weeks after the end of the campaign), and submit payment for sample printing.
Production should take 21-45 days and shipping can vary from 30-50 days. I have no control over shipping, however, I will be sure to keep all backers updated with everything that I know as I become known to it from my printers.

Can you tell me more about the deck, book and box materials and sizes?
Each Tarot Card is traditional tarot size - 2.75” x 4.75” with 78 tarot cards included. (Plus the two extra cards that were opened up with the stretch goals)
The cards will come in a full-color top and bottom lid box made from 1200 gsm cardboard + 157 gsm art paper. The surface finish will be Satin matte lamination on the inside as well as the outside.
The cards will be printed on 350 gsm card stock, with Matte UV coating with matte blue edges. I have chosen Pantone color 2210 for the edging.
The insert guidebook is 96 pages (15,200 words) and created in perfect bound. The outside covers will be done in satin matte lamination and the cover will be done in color. The inside will be black and white. The guidebook includes upright and reversal meanings, Rune meanings, and other little tidbits to help you with the deck.
Each Majors card has the universal Rune that embodies the energy of that card, along with the name and number of the card.
Within the minors and the court cards, you will find runes sprinkled throughout them based on intuitive placement, adding to the overall message of the card.
Each suit represents a story about a certain individual and their journey throughout it, in the end, they become the Ruler of their story. (a much older version of themselves) The Fire and Air sign is the masculine stories and the water and earth sign is the female story.
A Fun Little Add-On: Throughout the deck, within some of the cards, you will find The Fool in the background walking throughout his journey, see if you can spot him.

What is Ascension Tarot?
Ascension Tarot brings you into a Universe of traditional and non-traditional archetypes, animals and outer dimensional symbolism. It invites you to explore your life in a more holographic, multidimensional way.
I wanted to create a deck that not only explored the traditional tarot archetypes, but that expressed ideas around the Ascension process and the holographic world you live in. I wanted a deck that expressed the concept that there is magic everywhere around you, even in the places that you cannot yet see. That we not only live in a 3D universe but one that is made up of a MULTITUDE of dimensions. That there are messages everywhere that you look, from the animals you see in your day, to the weather that meets you at sunrise. Whispers are everywhere.
Ascension Tarot is meant to be used as a healing tool, as well as a trusted guide into your own Ascension process. As the creator of the deck, I wanted to show in both my choices of color and visual what lies just beyond the veil when you are able to tap into the magic that lives within you. Many of the graphic artwork concepts are based around the ideas of inner healing, strength, femininity, truth, crystals, energy work, and in working towards personal goals and dreams while processing each dimensional ladder as it presents itself to you.
Ascension Tarot was created in 2020 and can be purchased through my website and on Etsy and as an ADD-ON for this campaign at a lower price.
This 80 card tarot deck is printed using 350 gsm best quality art paper
Size: 70x120mm
Surface finish: Matte UVfinish +Matte color edges done in an aqua blue color (same color as the blue in the back of the cards)
The Box for the deck will be a top and bottom box with matte linen finish.
Included in the deck is a book the same size as the deck made in perfect bound. The cover and back are in color and the pages are in black and white and is 80 pages.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
